yoga styles

The word “vinyasa” can be translated as “to place in a special way,” like yoga postures for example. This vigorous style of yoga class coordinates movement with breath to smoothly flow from one pose to the next. It has three elements: arising, abiding, and dissolving. The dissolving of one thing is the arising of the next, and we do so by placing ourselves, our bodies, and our intentions in a special way. The smooth, continuous flow deepens breathing, increases endurance, and will test the edge of your balance and flexibility. Vinyasa classes are best if you are already physically active, comfortable with the basic yoga postures, and appreciate a healthy sweat.
