my comet stars
tribute to my masters and guides
Special encounters. Souls who attract each other. Meet, intertwine, exchange, bounce, kiss, hug, nurture, love, inspire, challenge, guide and enlighten each other. I carry them tight in my heart with immense gratitude for the fruit of their teaching is so graciously rich and precious to have radically changed my whole being for ever. They are an inseparable part of who I am today, and who I will be unveiling tomorrow.
They showed me the path, illuminating it with their exemplary lives, and taught me the way, giving me precious tools to get where I am today. To shape the woman, strengthen my spirit and body, renovate my faith, spread my wings wide, at times. They comforted me, when I fell and hurt, and helped me keep the embers burning when I hid, crushed by fear. And they keep doing that, when I have ears to listen, thirsty heart, blind, mad courage to follow my inner, fiery angel. To follow my inner beauty, and be one with it.
Master and disciple, disciple and master.... A magic, golden thread, a conversation of love. I am you, you are me…
I bow to you. Namaste.
In gratitude,

"I maintain that Truth is a pathless land, and you cannot approach it by any path whatsoever, by any religion, by any sect. That is my point of view, and I adhere to that absolutely and unconditionally. Truth, being limitless, unconditioned, is unapproachable by any path whatsoever, it cannot be organized; nor should any organization be formed to lead or to coerce people along any particular path.
If an organization be created for this purpose, it becomes a crutch, a weakness, a bondage, and must cripple the individual, and prevent him from growing, from establishing his uniqueness, which lies in the discovery for himself of that absolute, unconditioned Truth.
You can form other organizations and expect someone else. With that I am not concerned. My only concern is to set men absolutely, unconditionally free." Jiddu Krishnamurti

“You are the master, it’s inside you".
"Rose rosse per Te", "Red roses for You", he titled one of the email conversations we exchanged. I cautiously waited and observed him for four years before joining his Meditation School. Once joined, I waited one year before talking to him in person: I just wanted him to see me as I simply am, avoiding presenting any sweet coated picture of myself in words. The day I finally met him,
unconditional trust was sealed, and a thread of forever-love and friendship was interwoven.
Thank you Father for giving me such a powerful tool of investigation and self knowledge. It changed my life, giving me clarity, vision, direction, and courage. Thank you for your impeccable example of dignity, kindness, humbleness, tenacity, discipline, knowledge, faith. And for your playful, unforgettable smile. Namaste
"Just do it, now! And have fun!"
"If you are not a good dancer, at least look like one!".
It's a story of love, joy, and pain. I looked for her with eager heart and spirit, with all my being really. She recognized my faith and commitment, and took me under her wings for years. She gave me a precious key to understanding the Graham technique and repertoire, and the art of dance and living. It's true, master and disciple choose each other. She challenged me to tears to overcome certain aspect of my being, as an artist and as a woman. She wanted me to be a free dancer, free from myself most of all. My artistic comet star. Eternal gratitude to you.

"There is a vitality, a life force, an energy, a quickening that is translated through you into action, and because there is only one of you in all of time, this expression is unique. And if you block it, it will never exist through any other medium and it will be lost. The world will not have it. It is not your business to determine how good it is nor how valuable nor how it compares with other expressions. It is your business to keep it yours clearly and directly, to keep the channel open. You do not even have to believe in yourself or your work.
You have to keep yourself open and aware to the urges that motivate you. Keep the channel open. ... No artist is pleased. [There is] no satisfaction whatever at any time. There is only a queer divine dissatisfaction, a blessed unrest that keeps us marching and makes us more alive than the others".

“What do you think dance is, a horse?!”
Elsa furiously shouted this words at me once, stopping the dance class out of the blue. "Yes, I do Elsa!" I would shout back today, with a rispectful and playful smile. What an incredible generous, inspiring, passionate, tenacious, loyal, knowledgeable, and talented artist and teacher.
My artistic godmother. Grazie Elsa. Forever grateful.
my father
"Oggi è passata una stella". "Today, a star passed by".
I have your smile and your enamoured eyes. What an inheritance. I'm keeping my promise to you to nurture and protect your gifts to me. For ever. Thank you father. Grazie papà.
my inner wild fiery angel
What can I say... This angel is pretty wild, and likes to fly high, usually too high for me to follow. It's indeed an hard one to keep up with. But I've made it at times, I've gone close enough to almost loose myself in her wings. Looking forward to more. Bring it on.
